Bread Bakery of the world Pick your fresh rolls hot off the conveyer belt. Sit and have a sandwich in there deli and on your way out take home a box of pasteries at this 5 star bakery.Plenty of parking large lot. I love this place so much, I travel forty minutes just to get my dose of freshly baked breads. Specialty are their jewish rye's. Open daily until 9 pm They also do catering althiough I never had them do any of my party's.Although I am considering them for future partys.
fresh experience I think everyone has to go here just one time at least. It's an experience. If you were not in the mood for fresh baked bread you will after coming here. You can look around and see hot breads coming off the conveyor belt. There is also a plentiful bakery of pastries.
Yummy bread and fun experience This place is a Rockland tradition, although it is quite built up from the old days. This is a working bakery where you can go back and pick your own products, hot off of the production line. They now require you to wear plastic gloves and you can no longer reach directly onto the belt, but it is still fun to pull the bread straight off of the cooling rack while it is still piping hot. The best cakes around! It wouldn't be a birthday without a cake from The Rockland Bakery. The cake is so moist and the frosting is delicious! They have so many other wonderful items to choose from while you're shopping for your cake. They have cookies, danishes, cream puffs, tarts and so much more. I'm getting hungry just thinking of all the choices. Also, don't forget to pick up some fresh made rolls & bagels while you're there. You can see them rolling out of the oven! Old fashioned rye bread? Bought a rye bread --the odor and appearance, like all their products, was great. Wandering freely ampong the ovens was a treat. However,the bread were not traditionsl l -- it was too light and the crust too thin. Probably baked without steam and a nattural sour starter. The real things are an endangered species , since the public has become accustomed to this version and prefers it for its texture and price.. -- theirs is probablly among the best of its type.
The bakery is great but the deli you can skip The bread is fresh from the oven and out of this world. We often get the irish soda bread for dessert with coffe. I wish I could say the same for the deli. After a couple of years of buying and catering from the deli I have to say no more. They were never great, but they were convenient. I think that's what keeps them alive. Any business that treats you like they are doing you the favor will hopefully learn from their mistakes. The smell of fresh baked bread. The smell of fresh baked bread is what gets you in the door but once inside you have so many choices of breads to select you are in bread heaven. Being able to pick the breads you want as the come out of the oven hot is an amazing expereince. I have had everything grom bagels to pumpernickel bread here and all of it has been amazing. Crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. This is the best place for fresh breads.
Fresh Bread Rockland bakery has been a Monument in Nanuet for years with deliveries going out county wide all hours of the day.You won't find any better.I highly recomend a trip just to see this Icon. Very fresh aroma just after entering. Talk about cakes, biscuits, breads or bagels , they have it and it is too good.
