The nurse practioner, Montana in my opinion lacks good bed side manners You get the impression that you are only a number She did suggest pain therapy which I think would mask my underlying issues I told her that I was not interested in a band-aid approach to my spine issue I asked would I be seeing her again for another appointment Her reply was no are- she has no Bedside manner at all. People like her should not be in the medical profession. Bad visit and I cannot recommend this place because of it.
Do NOT pay them $250 up front! Your insurance is supposed to take care of the first visit! Also understand that one of the receptionists is an anti-vaxxer. Rockford Spine does NOT accept Medicaid, even though their insurance page says "Rockford Spine Center is committed to the success of your medical treatment and care. We do not want your insurance to stand in the way; therefore, we accept most all insurance plans.". So, obviously, that's a dishonest statement. This place is about money, not about healing people. Went into the office NEVER saw a Dr. A PA babbled on for sever mins. CUT CUT is the answer to this place. FUSION and PT. Go to Madison and don’t waste you time here. If this Dr we NEVER saw was half as good as he thinks he is he’d be doing surgery at UW.!!!
RecommendedI received excellent care from the entire staff at Rockford Spine Center. Dr. Fred Sweet did surgery on my back to relieve numbness and pain in my left leg and buttocks. Now 6 weeks later, my leg has not gone numb since the surgery and I no longer have pain in my buttocks. I am moving around the best I have in a long time. Dr Sliva and his staff are amazing. I went to him after trying physical therapy and injections for severe back, leg, and feet pain. I was feeling defeated by overwhelming pain and disability. I could do the bare minimum. He talked with me about surgery and gave me hope. I had surgery and I have my life back. its been only 6 weeks and I know the second half of my life is going to be great! This place is AMAZING!! Dr Fred Sweet is used by God to perform miracles... L4/L5 Spinal Fusion was the best decision I ever made. Dr and his team took excellent care of me. I was not in the dark about anything and 6 weeks later I am 100% pain-free!!! My only regret is not having done it sooner! Thank you Dr Fred Sweet, you gave me life again!!!!!
Dr. Michael Roh performed a Prestige® Artificial Cervical Disc Replacement (C6-C7) on me on May 27, 2020. My experiences with them — pre-op, the procedure, and post-op — could not have gone better. Everything that I needed to know was clearly explained so that I had no questions or concerns. The same is true for the surgery itself. Everyone is different, but for me, I went home afterwards and didn't feel like I had undergone a procedure in my neck.
