I love so much about the Rockford including the awesome events. However I'm giving just three stars because I got tea in a plastic steep bag. Those bags leach toxic phthalates parabens and other plasticizers. Very unhealthy to ingest!

The almond poppyseed sweet bread at the downtown location is sooo good. And it was warm still even, from the oven. My espresso drink is consistently good here. At other places I feel like I'm paying for coffee flavored water. Paying more too! So thanks! The one time I wanted a drink remade because it was a bit weak the barista was guenuinly bummed for me and remade it without a shred of snark. Really meant a lot!
1st time visit for business meeting. Enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious dark roast and yummy cherry scone.Enjoyed my time there at 411 E. Main
I would have given this location 5 stars!!! Except...when I find a seat as far away from the speakers as I can possibly get, the music is still hurting my ears and physically vibrating my chest! When I put in earplugs, the music still comes through. I even registered a formal complaint with a barista two weeks ago, and nothing has changed. I have been coming to Rockford to meet with other people, and now I think I am ready to encourage them to shift to a different location. Really bummed that you moved your 7th street location. Now the closest coffee to me is Starbucks and City Brew. Downtown is a huge pain to drive to for coffee. I miss you Rockford!!!
