We love Rockaway. We usually grab a few slices and a hoagie on our walk around the neighborhood. The woman at the front is always so nice and so is the rest of the staff. Glad they’re in the neighborhood!
Best NY Cheese Pizza in Pittsburgh. This pizza is right up my alley. It's got great cheese and the crust is crispy. Got the pleasure to meet Josh. He's a great dude. Lives up to the 8.2 score. Also tried the Grandma slice and upside down Sicilian. If you don't hit this spot for pizza in Pittsburgh, I have no respect for you. Lol Update: Praying for Josh's recovery. I am still recovering from lumbar herniated disc since January. Had to get injection. Hopefully you recover soon bud.
I went because of the hype, and left a true fan. The pizza here is fantastic, but if I could offer a new visitor one tip that made this place even better — try various slices of everything. The Sicilians are beefy and heavy, the upside down (which was over the top fantastic) is light and airy, and the regular slices packed a ton of quality flavor. The pepperoni meat itself is the best I’ve had in the city — taste a piece of it solo. Wow. The staff were so kind. Can’t wait to come back!
