we booked a rock climbing day and met our instructor here. later in the day we ended back at the store and all of the workers were super helpful Ave very knowledgable in helping us get all new rock climbing gear. highly recommend
Rock and Snow was a part of my life for part of my college years. Always fun and kept me going to stay in school. Best staff ever back then with Chuck Liff, Paul Trapani, Rick Cronk and the infamous Dick Williams!

Very friendly, knowledgeable and funny staff
I 1st went to this place in 73/74?when we used to hike the Gunks , I picked up a pair of Raichle leather mountain boots that i owned for over 30 years. They were awesome. Found another pair that’ll take me to the last years of my hiking . I’m not a boots and powder bag climber but did some sit harness rope stuff back then , I was 12-15, today I hike the Adirondacks as I live up this way. Moving forward I’ll have the right shoes to do it again , found them in the annex for $150, msrp? $400.00 thanks Rock and Snow
