I am convinced that the 152 5 star reviews are from fake Facebook accounts. This place is an absolute joke. I don't understand how a restaurant like this stays open. Just read Camille Dufore's review. I was in that party.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Quite frankly the worst dining experience of my life. I've gotten better customer service at McDonalds. Our food took over an hour and half for everything to arrive. When we asked to speak to a manager, he acted like we were lying about when we placed our orders. He then pulled receipts for when the orders were placed which was well after when we had placed them. Not only did we come in to an empty restaurant that should have warranted at least average service, but the service was horrendous and the food took more than an hour and a half to come out. No complicated orders or any orders particularly challenging. There was never an apology for the wait, and when we called out the manager, his apology seemed very insincere. I've had Rock-N-Sake no less than 20 times and every time it's *fire emoji*. The margarita roll gives meaning to my life.
I have no idea how the sushi is....I was only served water. We placed an order at lunch time, but after 50 minutes of never being served, asking for our food to go, and still never being fed, we left empty handed. The oddest part was that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy today at all! There were plenty of seats, plenty of waitstaff, and just too much wait. Best sushi and atmosphere in Baton Rouge- our waitress suggested some of the best appetizers we had never tried... this place never dissapoints !!! Worth the wait on a Friday during lent !
Excellent, fresh, and flavorful. Great service at the sushi bar.
