About this business
The diner first open its doors with a very simple menu of mainly burgers and BBQ entrees but soon people found out of my Greek heritage and kept asking for more and more Greek food. Most of the Greek recipes came out of my Mama Vera's kitchen but the rest are recipes from my UNLV Hotel Management/culinary school studies, some from research and some of them are creations of my great kitchen staff that have been working with me from almost the beginning. RecommendedWe were there August 1st, a tasty Fish and Chips Dinner for our 50th Wedding Anniversary! And Marios' Crab Bisque soup is the best soup we've ever had. Some incidental excitement, the staff on duty was prompt and thorough in helping a food deliverer contact police and provide information when she left her keys in the ignition (a No-No!) and two opportunistic thieves drove off in her car. Owner Marios told me the thieves were apprehended and the undamaged car was recovered by CHP in Goleta, CA. Three cheers too for our CHP.
They serve very good Greek food too
Service was great, atmosphere is really cool but the food was about one step above a Denny’s. Food was bland, not very impressed at all. With such a cool idea for a restaurant I expected the food to be really good.
gravy on biscuits and gravy was very average
The lady which served us was extremely rude upon our arrival. I asked to pay for our drinks and she told me I would have to pay for the entire meal as I already ordered. We chose not to argue and sit here and eat the food from a rude woman. I will never come back to this place again.
The family that owns this restaurant are the nicest people. They’re breakfast is so good!
Our waitress (owner?) is without a doubt one of my new favorite people. So now her place is too. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced.
