About this business
The diner first open its doors with a very simple menu of mainly burgers and BBQ entrees but soon people found out of my Greek heritage and kept asking for more and more Greek food. Most of the Greek recipes came out of my Mama Vera's kitchen but the rest are recipes from my UNLV Hotel Management/culinary school studies, some from research and some of them are creations of my great kitchen staff that have been working with me from almost the beginning. From The Netherlands we are travelling in California and our travel guide listed the train car as a 'fun place to eat'. So we decided to follow-up on that, and the diner has not disappointed. I really like that our travel agent also mentions these kind of locations and not only the big tourists restaurants. So the Rock & Roll Diner will perhaps become famous in Europe as well! We certainly enjoyed the food and the ambiance in the train car there and for sure will recommend it to our friends.
Have never been disapointed..lots of variety..even delish greek food and great daily specials...love the oldies but goodies memorabilia and music...we all cleaned our plates..even our 7 yr old grandson who is a picky eater..his pancakes were full of blueberries which left a smile on his face.
I have eaten there many times. The food is always delicious and hot. The service is great. You get what you pay for. It is sometimes hard to choose from their great, big menu.
Good place to eat. Cool nostalgic surroundings. Worth the trip!
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is so much fun, and Marios and his staff are friendly and attentive! My kids love coming here.
Food was very good and the service excellent !! A hidden gem.
