About this business
The diner first open its doors with a very simple menu of mainly burgers and BBQ entrees but soon people found out of my Greek heritage and kept asking for more and more Greek food. Most of the Greek recipes came out of my Mama Vera's kitchen but the rest are recipes from my UNLV Hotel Management/culinary school studies, some from research and some of them are creations of my great kitchen staff that have been working with me from almost the beginning. Absolutely a superb place to eat with also superb food!
It was such a beautiful place, and the atmosphere was definitely a blast from the past
We were driving north on highway 1 when we saw this awesome place . The food is delicious . Really nice waitress. Affordable prices.
If you come from the Netherlands then you have to go here. The Food is great and in original trains. Very cute and fun.
Love the theme, but that's about it. Service was so so and the food could have been better. We were a party of 5 with 1 kid and 2 preteens. Ordered sandwiches and two shakes. (The shakes were really good). Bill totaled $80 after 15% tip. Too expensive if you ask me, but we chose it because we wanted the kids to have the experience. I was hoping for a real jukebox. Great food, great diner. Fully recommended... �
I haven't tried any of the house "specialities", but the sandwiches I have tried are good. HOWEVER, I like their clam chowder better than any other I have tried in the Pismo area. If is not as thick as most, but the flavor is excellent and their are always lots of clam chunks.
