Food was terrible. Ordered the chicken strip and fries. Worse I ever had.
I grew up in an era when there was a Juke Box and a Song Selector at each booth. Tunes were 10 cents each or 3 for a quarter. I had a '57 Chevy. You were either: Ford or Chevy, Beatles or Stones, Coke or Pepsi. I was Chevy, Beatles, & Coke. The Island Rock Cafe took me right back to my youth thanks to Grannie's Apple Pie and tomorrow I'll return for a burger and a Coke!
Food was crap the owner seemed to want to kick everyone out. poor customer service the pizza was disgusting I would definitely NOT recommend this spot for food
Me and my wife love this diner, we eat here once a day every day while we are on the island. We went straight to Rock Island cafe after our wedding last year. The wait staff is amazingly friendly the food is always great and the atmosphere takes you straight back to the 50’s (a great time in the world I think)

I had the blessing of working here some months in 2006 and i loved everything about it!! Great food and especially great people: Rob, Flo, Michael, Kim.... some day i will come back... Argentina is far away but my heart stayed in Hawaii �
HF sundae was great. Chicken and bacon was good but strips weren’t well suited for a sandwich. Much better places for pizza, pulled pork hot dog was good and the nachos were good too
Such a cool place great food excellent atmosphere great staff highly recommend it ! Oh & Happy hour is always a good time to pop in
