I walked into their shop hoping to just get a wash and set since I had a ton of errands to run. After standing there for about 5 minutes, NOT ONE hairdresser or worker asked if I needed anything. They looked and me and returned to speaking Spanish to each other. I was the only Black person in the shop, at the door. While standing there, I pulled out my phone and called another Dominican hair dresser in the area, Kelly's. She stated, "Can you come by in 30 minutes?", and I told her YES. Zulay la cubana gracias por tu gran dedicación y profesionalidad! Quiero empezar diciendo que yo no confiaba mucho en los salones pero desde que conoci a Zulay la verdad mi pelo ha cambiado ! Ella de verdad es una estilista 1000% se las recomiendo de verdad ! Si quieren a alguien que te cuide tu pelo y sobre todo con la calidad humana que tiene esta senora ! Definitely recommend! Moved back to the area after 5 years and I am so glad to be back at Rocios. I was a client for years before we moved out of state and I had my first visit today and it’s still great! I have thick, long Puerto Rican hair and Sami always leaves my hair perfect! She also touched up my roots that were badly outgrown and it matched the exact color! Not sure about the other reviews I have read but it’s a welcoming salon and I have never had an issue.
