a special esthetician I recently decided to upgrade my bikini waxing from bad to good because this girl "Haleh"s (like holly) name kept coming up! At Rocco and Rocco's Spa section of this beautiful salon, I started with Haleh by getting fantastic, clean, bikini/Brazilian waxings. She educated me of my skin and hair type and how to take care of grooming in between appointments. Great Place - Tina is the Best I find the prices reasonable (you pay for what you get) Tina does a great job and is very nice. It is a bit loud on Saturdays so I schedule my appointments on other days.
Love Rocco & Rocco My teenage daughter will only go here. Stacey is her usual stylist but she has never had ANY problem with anyone else. They are very polite and only do color and cuts that are asked for unlike some places that think their preference is better.
A full service salon & spa Every time I have gone here, I have been thrilled with results. I have had 2 up-dos. Both were beautiful and different. Both of course were for weddings and very worth the $65. I couldn't believe that the hairstyles stayed all day and all night with all the dancing both times. My hair usally doesn't stay with hairspray, but at Rocco & Rocco they must use industrial strength spray. I have also gotten 2 massages here. Both were so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Disappointed...wouldn't go back I went to have a haircut and foil. I wanted blonde highlights and I left with dark brown hair and a cut that was way too short. After spending a lot of money for a bad hair experience, I was told that it will wash out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Great place Great place...probably the only good hair salon in Downers Grove. I would highly recommend Arianna, especially for updos. A little pricey, but she does a great job. My teenage daughter has been to her three times for dances and her hair has been beautiful each time. I have been going there on and off for 15 years with no complaints. It is loud in there on Saturdays, but try any morning...much different.
Too Loud TOO LOUD! Often find it hard to get a nail appointment, not enough techs. Ellen is wonderful for hair and color would highly recommend her. Receptionist could be more friendly!
OK if you want color (Go to April) Rude, not helpful when they mess up your hair due to "next client being there" Colleen is horrible, stay far away from this has no skills as far as color goes, mild for cuts. Owner and manager are rude and unavailable. The exceptions; make-up artist, and April for color is fabulous, just dont let her cut you, no concept of symmetry.
Would give them 6 stars! I have been a client of Rocco and Rocco's for 15 years with various stylists. I have never had a bad cut there EVER. I have been coloring my hair there for 15 years as well. I always leave satisfied with my color, cut and style. The owners are friendly and pleasant. The stylists have always been prompt and accomodating.
