Dr. Baines listen s carefully to my health issues and then thoroughly discusses treatment options with me. I never feel rushed. She respects my input and sees me as a whole person not just a collection of symptoms. I see Dr Baines at Williamsburg Landing Clinic. Clinic staff is friendly and also efficient.
Dr Robin S Baines is an excellent physician. She listens and is very attentive to her patient. She allows me to communicate with her and responds to my needs regarding my health. After 40+ years, I finally have a doctor that is truly concern about my health and well being. I would recommend her to any one needing a good and knowledgeable physician; whom listens, encourages and provides effective, efficient medical care. I pray I can keep her as my doctor for years to come.
If you're looking for someone who cares about your fears or concerns, look elsewhere! She stares at the computer and only half listens to what you're saying. Patients are not text books (black and white print) and she needs to learn that.
Dr. Baines is one of the friendliest and easily understood doctors I have had the pleasure to work with. She is my aging, mentally-ill mother's general practitioner. She understands how to talk with her and is always upbeat, and approachable when it comes to answering my questions. Her patience and enthusiasm for the work she does tells volumes about the caring person she is. Thank God for Dr. Baines.
Dr Baines is an excellent doctor and if it wasn't for her staff I would easily recommend her to everybody I know. To make an appointment required several calls til I got an actual person on the phone and then almost a month for an open appointment. Had to jump through hoops to get tests results that were never sent to me. Really bad look for my 1st visit to this office. If she were anywhere else I'd stay with her hands down. Not willing to deal with the issues.
Unfortunately, the only positive comment I can make is the wait time is sufficient. All else leaves much to be desired in a physician. She doesn't listen even when you're answering her direct questions; she cuts you off and tends to be be rude and condescending; not a good trait to have in a doctor. For some reason my weight chart was incorrect which made it hard for me to explain to her I've had a significant & unexplained weight loss so her response was that's not possible to lose that much
My aging mother is a patient of Dr. Baines. She is a patient and thorough health care provider. She applies compassion and understanding in dealing with aging adults. She is as much a teacher as she is a health care practitioner. I have learned a lot from her in how to monitor and care for my mother.
Great doctor! I've been a patient for four years she answered all my questions and ensure I received the best medical attention needed! I drive all the way from Richmond just to see Dr.Baines in Hampton
