nice place to live – Their apartments are in good locations throughout Rittenhouse and are great spaces and very affordable for such a good location. All the staff is extremely friendly and the maintenance is prompt in addressing any problems. They were great to lease from and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an apartment in the area!
Excellent Landlords – The positive reviews here generally make most of the right points. I just want to add a couple: One aspect I like is that there is a helpful night manager whom you can call if you have an issue in the evening (like locking yourself out!). At my previous apartment I once misplaced my keys on a Friday evening and couldn't get a hold of my landlord until Monday morning. Also regarding style: although the Robins don't seem to fear drop ceilings and linoleum, they also have apartments that are quite elegant.... read more
Great Place to Live – Hi, I am a 25-year old young professional and I’ve lived in my unit for 2 years, and plan to stay for the foreseeable future. I recommend Robin Real Estate for the following reasons: 1. After a terrible landlord experience in college, the attitude of my landlord has become an important factor for me. I am very pleased with the Robins. They are not a management company; this is their family business and they care about the properties and the tenants. They are there in the office every weekday from 8 am-6... read more
Personable and Professional – My wife and I have lived in a Robin Apartment for over 20 years; we’ve been very happy with our experience for a number of reasons. The rent is quite reasonable for a center city apartment of its size. Any maintenance or repair needs are attended to promptly, by a staff of workmen who are most courteous, capable, and down to earth. Some of the other tenants have also been here a long time; in other cases there has been more frequent turnover (quite a few graduate students recently). Overall, the... read more
If you're a student and don't have super high standards – Robin Apartments is a great family owned business that helps struggling students like myself live in neighborhoods that are safe to walk home at night. I have a huge 1br with a sizeable living room, separate kitchen, and smallish bathroom--all utilities except electric and cable (heat is gas)=$600/mo which is fantastic for Rittenhouse Square. After living in other cities out East and paying way too much to live in crappy neighbourhoods, Robin Apartments was a godsend.... read more
inexpensive places, good landlords – Nice family-run business. They're used to renting to college kids, so they might speak to you like you're a little slow, but other than that, no complaints. Their rent is very reasonable for center city, and they're good about repairs. The building I lived in had a building manager living on the first floor, so he would come up and help us with repairs, and call someone else if he couldn't handle it himself. Their units are definitely not "modern" by any means (think wood panelling walls)... read more
