I have had the amazing pleasure of having Dr Dore as my Rhumatologolist for the majority of my adult life. She is a real gem, not only does she go out of her way to make sure all your questions are answered she also genuinely cares about her patients as well as keeps up on all the latest and greatest. She has gotten me thru many surgeries and hard times. She is very responsive to patient portal questions and researches tough choices with me. Can't say enough about her. I would give no stars if possible. The office NEVER calls you back. As a new patient I faithfully filled out pages of docs before my appt.. She cancelled my appt. 2 times and the office never gave me an appt they said they would "call back". I have been trying to get my medical records back as I will never see this doctor. I am going to file a complaint to the Medical Board of California for misuse of personal medical information. If this her office practice I can't imagine how she practices medicine.
Dr Dore is the best! So knowledgeable and helpful!
I cannot speak about the doctor herself, but I can talk about the practice. They do not answer their phones and then it takes a week for them to call back (good luck if you need anything in a timely manner). The staff have been rude and unhelpful. Then they said in order to see Dr Dore, they would need to discuss the case with a primary care physician. Why wouldn't they want to talk to my previous rheumatologist? How would a primary care doctor, who has never before seen me, be of better help? I'm not understanding this logi... read more
Very difficult to deal with. Will not discuss your case beyond her plan. Only interested in the present and current labs which makes it difficult to figure out if there may be a possible new diagnosis when presented with a full history and other relevant information. Cannot and will not handle multiple topics or any interruption or extra information which might be relevant. Did not help me at all.
