I lived with sciatic nerve pain for over 20 yrs, being told it was due to osteo-arthritis, by a previous PT. We moved to Richmond and I still had pain. My new Dr referred me to Roberts PT&M. Best day ever! I found out it was not due to the arthritis and could be fixed with their treatments. I am happy to say I am pain free now. As long as I am a good patient and do my prescribed stretching and get maintenance deep tissue massages which they also have available.
I can't say enough good things about Robert's Physical Therapy and Massage. The staff is kind and courteous. They gave me a thorough evaluation and information about my condition. They devised an action plan to help me not only manage my pain, but also pinpointed the underlying cause. I have found them to be quite knowledgeable about physical therapy techniques and procedures. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis; foot doctor remedy: "we will cut the tendons in your feet". Roberts, unlike other places I've been, is fully invested in facilitating and retraining my body to heal itself. A person learns quickly site of pain is not always source of pain. There is more insight at Roberts PT in how the body works, how it's connected, and what works to get the body to heal itself. Quick fixes like surgery are not always what's needed.

Ms. Sarah "S" comments left out a major detail. She was asking us to commit insurance fraud by skirting the reporting process as she misinformed us on how her injuries occurred. When her attorney "brought it" to our attention we immediately corrected by billing the responsible party. We follow the guidelines set forth by the Virginia Bureau of Insurance. If she had ever spoken to me, which she did not, we would have explained this required procedure to her.
