I have never had such a terrible experience with a therapist. Across three sessions, her advice was given without any understanding of the background of the situation or me as a person. Have a narcissistic parent who uses gifts as a weapon? I’m too sensitive because everyone received bad gifts. Been referred by a clinical psychotherapist for high levels of anxiety? Ms. Roberts, was such a help to me and my family. Her patience and total understanding of the issues were professional. and very helpful. Talking to her was easy and confortable. If you have any issues please call her.
Deb has helped me through things in my life that I would not have been able to have been strong enough to accomplish alone. Her knowledge and guidance has been very helpful. I have succeeded in so many changes in a short time frame. Years ago I had seen 2 different therapists for many years and with neither of them was I able to move forward with any of my issues.
If you are looking for a person who will incite dividing a family as opposed to helping to repair one, then Ms Roberts is the one to go to. Unproffesional in the fact that she offers advice without having the common sense/nor the intellect to see the big picture. Will not allow theraputic outcries during session, likes to keep the peace and control what participants are allowed to say, thus resulting in a false sense of expectations. She aides in ruining, not helping.
I have been seeing Deb for a few years and she has, without a doubt, helped me overcome some of the most challenging hurdles that I have ever experienced in my life. Her depth in understanding, and treating, the root of cause has been instrumental in my continued healing. I would definitely trust her experience and wisdom with any of my family or friends.
Absolutely the most unprofessional experience I have ever witnessed. If you are a man stay far away. She operates with her own agenda. She shows no interest in helping. She loves to stir the pot of emotions. She should not be in practice.
