I have been going to the Center for many years! I had a knee replacement done in Baltimore in 2006, Dr. Salvagno had to go in and replace it because Baltimore had put it in crooked and it actually came apart. It took Dr. Salvagno 3 hours to fix their mistake! I have also had a partial replacement on the right knee, and have had both shoulders replaced, the latest one just 2 weeks ago (left). The staff are warm, friendly and professional. I have been going to them for years for various issues. I highly recommend them. Very thorough care. I can't say enough good about this practice. Dr Rothen is tops.
Staff and facilities are very nice. The waiting room chairs are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. For being a knee and hip place, the chairs are very LOW and hard to get in and out of. It would be nice to have some chairs that are a bit higher and firmer cushions that don't let the front bar cut the circulation off at the back of the thy. It would be a very inexpensive investment to offer 1/2 dozen chairs that sit about 6 inches higher for those of us who are taller.
Called to get follow up for husband's needs after motorcycle accident which happened 4 hours away. Clearly told practice I needed local follow up care. Brought in records on Monday. Called on Thursday still attempting to make appointment for local follow up. Late Friday afternoon finally get a call. Doctor says we should follow up with surgeon 4 hours away. Ridiculous. Don't waste your time with this practice.
