Gross predatory practices. My psych ordered unnecessary testing for my ADHD non stimulant meds. I asked what was covered by my insurance and was told the extra bloodwork they wanted WAS covered by my insurance only for it to not be covered when I went to the hospital next door. If you have a major insurer they will see it as a cash grab thinking “you have bcbs, you can afford it”. Get independent testing that is NOT through Trinity.

They are taking advantage of the lack of psychiatric care options in the Quad Cities area. Have contacted patient advocacy several times as well. Awful cattle call experience. 60 days to get in, once I got there, no one made eye contact. Just asking generic questions and typing, looking at the screen, zero care. The least accessible and furthest away of the 3 buildings. Unity Point insurance doesn't allow you to go anywhere else. Unity Point should be ashamed of themselves... read more
I made an appointment months ago, only to be cancelled twice before finally meeting the doctor, who turned out to be an asshole. My followup appointment now has also been cancelled, so my meds I was trying out will run out before then. The most worthless place and waste of time ever.
