Mindi runs the best groups I’ve been in. She runs the meetings in an organized and patient way. The groups has a natural flow to it . The members feel close to her and each other . She makes sure everyone has a chance to speak And not all at once. She always does a good summary of each session. I’m so glad that rwj has given us this Safe place to be in dialogue and support
The support cancer group program at RWJ is absolutely appreciated. To be provided with this free service is amazing..the association..the wealth of information given..the comfort of a warm setting is PRICELESS. Mindy Cohen is a gem I don’t know how she handles all that she do for us..but I’m glad. I greatly appreciate to be a part of a wonderful support group...Thanks MINDY🌹
I have been participating in the community programs for years. It's a free peer support group run by a brightest and most knowledgeable nurse, Mindy. She keeps us up to date on treatments, brings doctors to discuss issues as well as novel approaches to keep us healthy. Beside the educational component, she gives us time to share our thoughts and feelings during times of difficult decisions. I have been a regular member of the RWJ Rahway monthly caregivers support group for a number of years. The organizer, Mindy, is superb. From day one, I’ve always gotten great value and insight from her leadership and the participation of all of the members of the group.
I can't speak to the services at RWJ Rahway hospital, itself, nor the quality of patient care you can hope to receive. However, I CAN speak to the AMAZING community programs the hospital runs. If the support groups run by the hospital are indicative of its patient care, I have to say the organization is truly invested in health. RWJ Rahway, at one of its namesake gyms, RWJ Fitness & Wellness, offers community-based support groups. I personally attend the fibromyalgia support group & I can only describe it as a "life-saver." ... read more

Horrible staff. Rude and uncaring. Went there for stitches and a head exam for a possible concussion from an accident. I was bleeding out of multiple lacerations on my head. They have me Tylenol and sent me home. No stitches no brain scan. Than billed me hundreds.
