I take off work early because I made an appointment for Wednesday February 11th and confirmed it over the phone. when I made the appointment I arrive and am informed its for Thursday the 12th. I made sure to ask because I work during normal office hours and it is difficult for me to leave work early and now I have to cancel my appointment for tomorrow as I cant make it. Please take your time to confirm appointment accordingly and read it back.
This was an extremely disappointing experience. Important information was not communicated to me, and the doctor later admitted that I was not notified when I should have been. That alone shows a serious breakdown in basic patient care. The office staff was also incompetent. I was repeatedly told that someone would “look into it,” yet no one ever followed up, resolved the issues, or took responsibility. There was a complete lack of accountability and communication.
