My husband has been seeing him for several weeks. He was late for one appointment and Dr Stewart charged him $75 for a missed appointment fee. We tried to ask for courtesy forgiveness, he denied it. My husband was seeing him for depression and anxiety. This type of lack of compassion speaks volumes for Dr Stewart. Dr Stewart has also advised my husband on several times to basically not do anything he feels he does not want to do. How do you counsel a person with anxiety about the public to basically stay in. Dr. Stewart is a superb psychotherapist. He treated my son for anger problems and now my daughter. She has been seen by numerous psychiatrists and psychotherapists to no avail. Dr. Stewart was the only one to accurately define her issues. He used a combination of clinical hypnotherapy and, what he calls, beneficial thinking. She is now working again, is motivated, and attending college. Dr. Stewart is the only psychotherapist I can recommend!

Dr. Stewart is an excellent therapist. He teaches skills that continue to greatly help me keep anxiety and depression to a minimum! I highly recommend.

Do not use this doctor. I scheduled an appointment and waited a week for the visit just to be told that they do not take my insurance. Mr. Stewart informed me that sometimes his staff forgets to ask that question sometimes. I went to this visit under my employer's benefits program for which I received 4 sections. The doctor said he was going to bill Compsych and that I might have one less section out of the 4. He did not even suggested if I wanted to pay out of packet after section 4.

I needed to see Dr Robert Stewart due to a recent loss of my son. He counseled me for about 3 months. From the first visit Dr Stewart has been so much help. I'm not sure that I could have gotten through the loss without him He had so much concern and had a way with pulling the feelings you had for us to talked about them and help get them resolved. I would recommend him to anyone. By the second visit I felt like I could tell him about anything and he had a way of handling it.

He is considerate and very professional in demeanor. He covered information no other therapist has discussed with me. he is very knowledgeable and skilled.
