I can’t say the doctor isn’t competent, I think he is. He just lacks bedside manner and is a very rushed man which I guess is understandable with the number of patients he sees. I think his staff has a hard time keeping up with him which gives it a feeling of disorder and stress. The front desk is awful and really needs to attend a refresher training on etiquette. They hand out niceties without genuineness, are at times rude, unclear in their communications and gossip and complain in front of patients ... not all of us are 8... read more
I love Dr. Orr and couldn't be happier to have him as my Cardiologist. I was in critical care last year with AFib and Atrial Flutter and Dr. Orr happened to be the Dr. on call. He and another Cardiologist did an ablation and I have been fine ever since. He has a great sense of humor and is the Dr. that was able to get my Afib under control.
Great listener explains himself well. A GREAT sense of humor He has a great staff. Everyone was very considerate.
Dr. Orr and his staff are very caring with the patients. Dr. Orr himself has been relentless in his search a solution to my medical issues.

I had an angiogram from Dr. Orr. He ignored my request to go through the radial artery during our pre-procedure intake — spun around on his heel and left the room as he curtly said, “Nope, we’re going femoral” (come to find out he didn’t know how to do radial access, and should’ve handed me off to another doctor). He also left me with a femoral pseudonym aneurism w/scar tissue inside the artery which creates vascular turbulence and clot risk, along severe nerve damage, and two torn tendons. My housemate use to work critical ... read more

Lots of pain, felt like he was sword fighting in my artery n blood 3very where and bled vaginally on getting up to dress. Had same procedure tears before at Scripps and barely felt anything. No blood on chux. Up n around next day. Still hurting 3 months later
Horrible Dr, the nurse took a heart test when he came in I asked if I was ok his answer was “no your going to die”! He gave me pills and said to come back in 1 wk, I went back he schedule me for surgery to have a fibulator put in my chest, It didn't feel right so went to another Dr he told me that if he had put in a fibulator I would have died in 2 wks, my heart was weak and it would have over worked it, i stayed with the new Dr and my heart is well, stay away from Dr Orr if you value your life
I can not believe how bad this doctor was. With his arrogant, condescending attitude and horrible demeanor I had no confidence in him or his recommendations. He tried to unwind everything that my primary doctor was doing(that is working). I would steer clear of this doctor and his other 1 star reviews as it could save your life!
He wasn't interested in answering my questions and was vague with his response. He stood next to the door and hurried me along and then wanted me to schedule surgery. I didn't have a good vibe. I felt like I was a patient algorithm and not a person.
