Dr. Mordkin has a very reassuring manner when meeting new patients. He has excellent 'people' skills, and spent time explaining all my options for future treatments. In order to get an accurate diagnosis for what was causing my elevated P.S.A. level, he did a D.N.A. blood test which confirmed the earlier results. Only then did he say I needed a prostate biopsy. Excellent all around. Offered a laproscopy with robotic assistance for my kidney removal when others would not and executed it successfully. Staff was professional and attentive. Hospital facility was also excellent. Dr. Mordkin explained everything clearly and patiently and was not in a hurry like so many physicians. Highest recommendation.
My treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (an enlarged prostate), after experiencing an acute urinary retention, with Emily Everett and staff and Dr. Mordkin for diagnosis and surgery (transurethral resection of the prostate). At every point the care was complete and caring; I was very satisfied with the process and the outcome. It is my hope that my future needs for medical interventions will be as professional as was my experience w/ Dr. Mordkin and Emily Everett.
