Dr Chung spent a lot of time with my husband and I at the 2 appointments before my surgery. He answered all of our questions and concerns. He was very detail oriented and if I wasn't understanding something he would explain it a different way. I love how he explained my MRI to me in layman terms and not totally medical terminology. I was grateful for that. I found Dr Chung very caring and he had a wonderful bedside manner. I would definitely refer others to him and will continue to see him if other things come up for me.
Dr. Chung spent over 13 hours operating to repair my spine. I am thankful for Dr. Chung. He is an expert and has knowledge beyond any other doctor. I have referred many people to Dr. Chung and they are also impressed with his thoroughness. Thank you Dr. Chung for being my back doctor!
Dr Chung did well on the first 5 spinal surgeries. Numbers 6 and 7 not so good. Turns out 2 pedicle screws were placed incorrectly - MRI showed later when he claimed they moved after surgery. They did not move as they were not loose and 2 neurosurgeons confirmed this. I emailed pics of cervical incision after surgery #5 to his PA as I was concerned about possible infection. Very prepared and detailed!
I have left the Castle Pines area. I have had family doctors for over 50 years. Looking back, I can assure you that De Carpenter was the best one ever for me. He was thorough, timely insightful, knowledgeable and he knew when to send me to a specialist! Excellent!
The good news is that after Chad was able to remove a piece of a disk that was pinching my spine and my problem was solved. But the whole experience with this guy was terrible. At first, when I was in terrible pain, he was going to schedule my next appointment 6 weeks into the future. Fortunately another doctor advocated for me and got the appointment moved to an earlier time. At my next appointment, he was an hour late. The first thing he told me is what a great workout he had just finished.

Dr. Schmitz was very personable and it helped ease my fears. She explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. From pre op to post op she was very personable and made me feel valued. She treated me with care knowing that this everyday procedure for her was a very scary thing for me. I am so thankful to her and the team of nurses that aided in my comfort. Absolutely highly recommend!
Not only did Dr. Linhorst skillfully perform the emergency c-section that saved my and my daughters lives, but she had the difficult conversation about the emergency c-section with me with respect and kindness. When others let me down, she listened, advocated, and validated. She has excellent bedside manner and can handle herself in an emergency. This isn't always a common combination, and it makes her truly stand out as a provider. Dr. Linhorst is now my OBGYN and I'm very grateful for that.
Dr. Prusmack operated on me 15 years ago and have never had a problem. He is. Great Doc Pam Kelly
