I had seen Dr Palmer for a lumpectomy . I had expressed concerns about the scar. I was afraid the scarring on my breast would become inverted. Dr Palmer‘s only response was that yes he has heard those concerns before. At no time did he offer any solution. Now ,two reconstructive surgeries in I now know I could have been offered a mastectomy . At no time was a mastectomy or any scar treatment discussed. My first surgery at 66 years old. Anxiety kept low thru his manner. I truly felt as though I was his only patient on that day. (as well as the entire staff at the Toledo Clinic). Usually bedside manner of specialists is cold, gruff, and with a 'get em in, get em out" attitude, there was no rushing with Dr. Palmer. He answered every question I had and explained everything. Very good at what he does and friendly, always a smile. Highly recommended.
He takes time to explain things! He is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. He is easy to talk to and answers questions so you understand. I would definitely recommend him.
