I saw Dr Corey regarding a broken ankle. The man was professional, compassionate, and direct. Explained my options clearly in terms I could understand. Told me we can leave it in the splint and see how it does or I can operate and 2 weeks from now we'll put you in a walking boot. The choice is clear for me. As promised two weeks later he looked at it and said it was good. But then there was a problem waiting for authorization for the walking boot.
