Awesome & caring doctor!! Dr. Lucas has been my doctor since he came to Athens to practice and I am so thankful to have him as my physician. He is so caring and compassionate and takes up time with me during my appointments and always goes above and beyond to help me when I am sick. He is very considerate and understands when insurance doesn't cover everything and finds alternative treatment options that are within my budget. He is very flexible with me and my schedule and always works me in when I need to be seen.
Dr. Lucas has been my physician for many years. When you see Dr. Lucas, it quickly becomes clear that he truly cares about his patients. He takes all the time necessary, he listens and then he addresses the issue. On several occasions he has gone above and beyond any expectations in addressing my situation. It is refreshing to deal with a physician that exemplifies dedication to his patients and goes the extra mile on their behalf.
Dr. Lucas has been our primary care physician for just over a year. We’ve had several other doctors for primary care around Athens and never really felt as though we connected with them. The focus during our visits with prior doctors was more on our medical history, symptoms, and treatment plan and less about who we are as people. only wants sheeple; does NOT want you to ask questions, search for side effects on the internet, look up natural remedies, natural herbs, etc.instead of chemical "soup" FDA approves, does not want YOU to take responsibility of your own wellbeing, etc;you MUST take the pills he pushes or he will not "treat" you!! avoid!!!
