I would recommend him to my family and friends. He is a doctor who totally 'gets it' and wants to do whatever necessary to better things for his patients. He listens and understands the situation before he proceeds. He was excellent, spent a lot of time with us both in the office and on the phone, and he was extremely thorough. Hello. I've been a patient of Dr.Patz for 8 years now after having a history of knee problems dating back to 93. Dr. Patz has performed arthroscopic surgery on both knees. Menisci repair and debris clean ups. I also get osteoarthritis pain management from Euflexa shots twice a year. Completey happy with the care Dr. Patz has given me. l have no doubt when it comes time for knee replacement I will have full confidence in Dr. Patz abilities. Went to dr Patz for second opinion regarding shoulder issue. He was great! He actually listened and unlike other surgeons has no God complex .He suggested a treatment course and for the first time in a over a year I experience pain relief though not permanently . I trust him to perform surgery what I don,t trust is the facility BIDC -Milton that he is affiliated with. My research of it is not promising. I wish he was affiliated with The Brigham or MGH...not sure what to do, but Patz is Good!
He saw my 16 yo daughter for shoulder pain and was very helpful. He is kind concerned and thorough. He treated her and she was able to finish her tennis season. I highly recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.
We took our daughter to Dr Patz for a second opinion. He analyzed her problem thoroughly, diagnosed her correctly and came up with a plan that shortened her recovery time. We are very appreciative.
