I didn't feel like he listened to my concerns at all. My knee was swollen, he sent me to PT, which made it worse. I had to request further imaging. Then he suggested an injection, almost as an afterthought. Glad he did and I was able to see a newer Dr. that morning, who removed an ounce of fluid from my knee! (My Dr didn't offer to do that). Not a fan.
Horrible experience - had fallen and taken a very hard blow to my back about a month earlier - had xrays at the time of the fall but pain persisted so was referred to Ortho. I described my pain clearly, made a drawing of where and how I hit, he never conducted an examination of any sort, and literally said there was no point in getting an MRI and referred me to PT. He said it was "inflamation." Attended PT which worsened my pain. Finially got an MRI order from PCP and it showed an acute scapular fracture and two bone contusi... read more
