I have great confidence in the doctor and his explanations are fantastic. The wait time was too long.
Dr. Hurford listened to the issues I’d been having with my neck and provided me with treatment options. I am so glad I chose to have surgery. Dr. Hurford gave me my life back! No more numbness in my fingers & excruciating neck/shoulder pain. I feel great and can’t thank Dr. Hurford, his staff and the SE physical therapy people enough.
First visit. Very cordial and professional.
There is not much personal contact with Dr Hurford. He does not inform you well with the facts about your surgery. I learned most of my knowledge online. If you have questions, he answers them. The main point though is he’s a surgeon and a very good one. I was in excruciating pain and almost couldn’t walk. After my surgery I was pain free, standing straight and have no trouble walking. I give him the highest recommendation for his skills.
I just had my first appointment today and I was very impressed with Dr. Hurford. He took his time to explain what was going on with my neck and back..

Dr Hurford is a excellent surgeon with wonderful bedside manner.
Very unhappy with my mothers care- she has had multiple surgeries. The first surgery had to be redone because the wrong size screws were put in here back after this surgery, she developed an infection that she had to go in twice to have it cleaned out. He has a horrible bedside manor. No apologies for the multiple surgeries, nothingFURIOUS!! my mother refuses to go back to him again after the 4th surgery. She is still in so much pain. No we do NOT recommend him to anyone for anything
He was very rushed and spread way to thin. No personality and no time for his patients. Would not recommend to any one, however Paul his assistant is wonderful, kind and caring
