I had cataract surgery in both eyes; right eye on Tues, left eye on Wed. The staff excelled in making sure I was comfortable at all times. I need to allow for healing time since the surgeries were 2-days ago. However, my right eye was at 20/20 the day after surgery. The left eye is progressing nicely and I can see the difference in my vision almost hourly. Colors are brighter and more vivid. My experience has been phenomenal. It has been relaxed, stress free and painless. They communicate with the patient every step of the journey.
I had cataract surgery from a different ophthalmologist almost 4 years ago and had some permanent retina damage. I was warned it was a possibility. My other eye needed attention then but I was too apprehensive because of the original surgery so I put it off until now and had to do something. My husband and I live in Alabama, but chose to travel to Largo, Florida to have cataract surgeries by Dr. Weinstock for both of us based on a family member recommendation.
