He moves practice too frequenttly, which is a concern (5 locations since I have been a patient). At last visit, I had been 'moved' to see his PA from now on, and the office had again been moved without notice. I skipped the next appointment, bc on looking up the PA's credentials, his specialty was not neuropathy or stroke, which were my diagnoses.
I found Dr Tyndall to be the exception to the rule for MDs. He was a great listener and was not intimidated by my questions. He was actually entertaining to talk with, very personal and was happy to explain everything I asked. I really enjoyed my appointment, when’s the last time that happened? I will refer my patients and friends and family to him if they need a neurologist.
His huge ego and smug attitude gets in the way of his work. He has no desire to help you in anyway other than write a prescription and set up a follow up appointment. My last visit he complained most of the time about Obamacare, insurance companies even Mercy where he is employed. After reading his notes I realized he wasn't even listening to me. He tried to tell me it was all in my head and there was nothing more he could do for me. Turns out I have a complex epilepsy with several other issues.
I have seen Dr. Tyndall for 3 years & he is exceptional! Always knows the right questions to ask, medications to try, & continually reads & references new studies. He is patient, kind, & a natural at listening. He remembers minute details that make a difference & puts it all together to make sense of your symptoms. Makes specialty referrals as needed & is always available. As a bonus, he is such an interesting man to visit with on any given day! Glad to have my migraines under control! (Botox)
I really like him! He's an excellent doctor and he makes me feel at ease. His nurse is warm and friendly as well :) both of them :)
I never got to see Dr. Tyndall. My insurance is "managed care" so my general physician has to make a referral and get approval from my insurance. After jumping through all those hoops, I could only reach Shannon the appointment secretary's voice mail in repeated attempts and she never returned my calls. If you are not competent enough to handle a phone, you probably are not competent enough to handle my health. No, thanks!
He is a wonderful Doctor he listened to my problems and explained what was going on with me developed a treatment plan also his office staff especially Shannon was very courteous and helpful
Dr Tyndall has been my Doctor since 2007. I only have 1 complaint I wish he could be my Primary Care Doctor. He is a FANTASTIC DOCTOR or I'm just prejudiced he is just the very BEST. I don't know how to say how much he has done for me, He is just Awesome. I always recommend Dr Tyndall. And Shannon is like a friend helping you through everything if you forget something she is there to help you. O am so Glad I found Dr Tyndall and Shannon
Arrogant and unwilling to treat you as a individual. He's full of himself and I would never recommend him to anyone. He's not that smart!
