Dr. Gillespie has been my children’s pediatrician since they were born, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I have a 5yr old and 1yr old, and he has been wonderful with both of them. He has a natural ability to connect with children and make them feel comfortable during appointments. My little one lights up the moment he walks into the room, and my older child genuinely enjoys seeing him as well. I would not recommend this doctor. He seemed to doubt what I would tell him. If I told him my baby didn’t have a fever, but I didn’t check his temperature, then he asked how I knew he didn’t have a fever. If a person, including a baby, is cool to the touch, then they don’t have a fever - why would you check their temperature? The very definition of a fever is a rise in temperature. He is a well rounded Provider...he is fun, but firm or healthy choices...he talk to kids at their level and will back you up on healthy choices (screen time) My son felt comfortable since day one and he was comfortable to ask if he could contact him by email in case he had more question, this made me like him more.We had to transfer to him since our previous pediatrician got retired. Dr. Gillespie was a perfect match for my son and me.
