Dr Garrett performed my quadruple bypass surgery 23 days ago! I am so very grateful that I chose Dr Garrett and his incredible team of sensitive and caring professionals! I did my homework to select a surgeon when I learned that I needed heart surgery. Dr. Garrett's name always rose to the top of the list. So, I selected Dr. Garrett to do my triple bypass. I am very glad I did. He is the best of the best.

Dr. Garrett performed my quadruple bypass on September 16, 2009. 7 1/2 years later I'm still hanging in there! Helluva surgeon and a good guy to boot!
During heart surgery, someone nicked a lung which kept me on vacuum and drains for nine days. He never attended me after the surgery. On ninth day, when tubes removed, I had a stroke. Did the nicked lung contribute? Had one brief post op visit with Dr. Garrett during which he did not mention the nicked lung or the stroke. Had to have second surgery because 4 of 5 bypasses failed.
