Dr. Cykiert's office sets the bar high (and where it should be in medicine) for professionalism, attentiveness, care and diligence. It is clear that Dr. Cykiert cares about his patients as much as his practice. The entire staff is well in tune with the sensitivity of visiting a doctor, and after each visit i leave feeling comfortable and well looked out for.
My wife, and I, have been using Dr Cykiert, for some 30 years, and have never had a doctor that can better diagnosis a medical condition. He did cataract sugury, on both my eyes, in the past 7 years, without any complications, and my eye sight, at age 77, is outstanding. His eye exams are very extensive, and if you need follow-up testing, it is done almost immediately, with out long delays. He has a large practice, in a small office, so there is waiting times. But the wait is worth it. If you feel you have an immediate probl... read more
I recently visited Dr. Cykiert's office for a check-up. First visit. He and his staff provided the most thorough exam I ever had. I am 69 years old and have been wearing glasses since I was 8 years old so that's saying a lot. The exam started on time and was extremely professional. Excellent!
Dr. Cykiert is knowledgeable but the waiting time is ridiculous! Every time I took my mother to her scheduled appointment, we had to wait about 3 hrs to be seen by dr. Ckyert. He has to see so many patients that the time he spends with patients it’s not quality time. He can become very rude and inpatient when you ask him questions related to the patient’s condition. You almost get the feeling that doctor and staff are dealing with dollar numbers rather than patients. No compassion!
Honest and ethical. First doctor that told me I don't need surgery yet. Very conservative and trustworthy.
First one able to make a diagnosis after visiting 4 different doctors.
I have been seeing Dr Cykiert for about 3 years. He is a very good Doctor, thorough and spends time with you. However, the wait time is ridiculous. Once I realized a 1 hour wait is just to be expected at his practice, I started requesting to be the first appointment of the day. That seemed to work for that problem. But recently I needed a copy of my prescription to order contact lenses. I must have called four times within a 2week time span. The front desk staff, who are not particularly pleasan
I waiting 1:30 h and I didn't the consult. Two patients were waiting for 3 hours! This overbooking is unacceptable for a professional. I do not recommend this doctor... this delay is unprofessional.
Stay as far away from Dr. Cykiert as possible. The rudeness of his staff and the two hour waiting time are true but the least of it. Dr. Cykiert is not only personally unpleasant but seriously unprofessional. He purports to be in many insurance networks but has no one on his staff to deal with insurance companies or issues -- and he and his staff are completely unwilling to do anything but the most perfunctory of paperwork to facilitate prescriptions or eligibility. When my insurance company i
