Dr Matthias is very friendly, first offered a handshake and listened carefully to my account of my problems. He did a thorough exam, including XRays. When records from referring physician were not easily found, he left the room and returned in less than 5 minutes with records in hand. After he reviewed the records and explained options, I chose surgery. The surgery scheduler came quickly to the exam room and scheduled me at the earliest possible time.
I actually felt like my bone malformation on my hand was insignificant and Dr Matthias put me at ease immediately. He showed me on the xray where I had a bone spur and a little arthritis and it might be best to treat with nsaids for now. If it became more of a problem later on, he could remove it surgically. I was grateful for the reassurance.
One of the best doctors you can find! He takes time with you and listens to you. Found my problem right away and took care of it. I rate him on a scale of 1-10 and give him a 10.
