Dr. Mathews has always been the kind of doctor you would recommend to anyone. Not only is he thorough and very knowledgeable in the field of ophthalmology, but he is also personable and knows how to make a patient feel as though they are being cared for, that their concerns are valid, and that they are being heard. Dr. Mathews is one of the absolute best doctors there are.
Dr.Matthews has been our primary eye care doctor over twenty years giving us excellent care and concern for healthy eyes. He is easy to understand and gives one the feeling he is personally interested in us along with giving us extensive eye exams, and instructions as needed. I have never experienced any problems with prescriptions for glasses or for macular care. It is nice to know a doctor like Dr.Matthews. I have recommended him to newcomers to Bend.
He has done a fine job for me. Staff is professional and nice - Chloe is great.
