Excellent Cardiologist. Very concerning and extremely professional. He greats you with a big smile and doesn't try to sugarcoat anything. He is honest and sincere. He and his staff along with UPMC Passavant (Both campuses) are the only reasons why I choose UPMC. I live over 1 1/2 hours away and continue to use Dr. Baumgartner. UPMC NEEDS MORE LIKE HIM! My mother sees this physician and it appears that they have trouble calling back patients when a patient has questions in regards to their blood pressure or other related issues. My mother called in regards to her blood pressure, medications and feeling lightheaded and dizzy with no return phone call for several days. This to me is totally unprofessional and appears the office is too busy to provide patient centered care.
