Been seeing him for 20 years..THE BEST!!! Makes suggestions rather than telling you what to do.Involves patient in the process. Understands the biochemistry of medications and explains it. Insightful ,kind and funny..you can tell he walks the walk, Always returns phone calls. Highest recommendation!

I recently walked in for an appt and witnessed the secretary being very rude to a client over a scheduling issue. After the patient left, I heard her recount what happened to Dr. Wesner, and her side of the story was an inflated lie. They both felt better by agreeing to send the patient a Termination of Care letter. What a strange and unprofessional conclusion! Dr. Wesner is himself good, but it seems like he's getting tired of the job, or maybe just tired of me :(. Also wait time is always long

He's really nice and at first really listens to you and respects your opinion of your treatment. Unfortunately, after a while it's like he doesn't trust you or believe the things you're experiencing. I had the same issue for over eight months and didn't like the medication he put me on: his solution was to put me on more of the same type of medication. By the end of my experience with him I didn't feel comfortable even telling him what I was going through. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend him.

At my first appointment, Dr. Wesner spent well over an hour with me and asked about family, friends, history, personal experiences, etc. I have never felt rushed during appts. and he has returned my phone calls PERSONALLY, when needed. I am very pleased with the professional, yet relaxed atmosphere (you don't feel like you're visiting a psychiatrist). I feel like Dr. Wesner truly cares for me, which is rare in this field. I trust him enough that I've recommended him to my own family members.

Absolute worst experience with a psychiatrist in my life. He does NOT respect his OWN confidentiality policy, and makes you feel worse thank you did prior to meeting him! He seems like an unhappy man, with a condescending, extremely rude, secretary (to whom he will share confidential information about his clients). He already has 3.5 stars... giving him a 1 star, would give him 0 if i could. Seems like it's time for him to retire or find a new profession! would not recommend to ANYONE.
