Dr. Vogel is an exceptional retinal doctor and very nice person. I have seen him many times and greatly trust him.
My mother was treated terribly by Dr Moss. He walked in saying he was having a bad day and continued to sigh and jump around in his chair cause he was so upset how everything was not going his way. He was short with mom and called her “a mess”. What a spoiled child he seemed to be and he had a temper tantrum in the office and we seemed to be blamed for most everything. I visited Sr Vogel 2-3 times because of terrible issues with floaters, flashers and diminishing eye sight that came on very suddenly. I knew something was terribly wrong. His response was always the same … just aging although I was only in my early 60’s. Just ignore it. I relocated and had to see new retina specialist within first week because of new symptoms. A technician refracted me (2021) and wrote a new Rx for my glasses. Then Dr. Vogel saw me. After the exam he handed me the Rx. Turned out to be the same Rx he had given me TWO YEARS earlier. I later learned that he had changed the new Rx but didn't refract me to check it, and didn't tell me he had changed it. It was total waste of money. I tried to reach him by phone, through Piedmont's website messaging feature, and even via email to the law office he works with. No replies. A year later (2022) I asked him about this. Dr. Saxton T Moss is a remarkable Ophthalmology doctor. He has been my doctor for years. In 2017 I had lens implant surgery due to my astigmatism and the surgery was excellent. Recently, 2019 I got a chemical burn at work he worked after hours and found his assistance invaluable in this matter. He handled my crisis and my vision is outstanding again. He is the best!
Dr. Moss is a great doctor and a wonderful person. He takes his time to too explain everything. Very friendly and polite. I have been seeing him for many years. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new ophthalmologist .
The staff is always friendly and very courteous! Dr. Moss is the best. He is a doctor that explains what and why a procedure is being done. A very patient and considerate doctor. I recommend Dr. Moss to everyone. Awesome!!!
Well after his sighs of having to work on the weekend he quickly rushed us to his office. Then giving a lady thirty years his senior a lecture as if talking to an adolescent about her neglect to her follow glaucoma drops. Not knowing her situation, struggle or the will it took for her to be their for her first medical emergency of her life. Not knowing the many hands she has held in the life and death situation which many ended in the latter. Comparing her to third world countries.True gentleman
