I was convinced by a workman comp nurse he was a neurologist who could help me faster than going to Iowa University for VNG testing. I didn't realize he was paid to spend a few minutes on a video and then say I had nothing wrong with me when other doctors gave me a referral for post concussion syndrome and eye issues, loss of vision, hearing etc. But here we are workman's comp told my employer I worked with Dr. Arias in person for 6 hours and I've never met the guy in person ever. Whatever you do avoid Robert Arias as he used a psych profile just to insult and degrade me saying I was obsessed with chess and bicycling like it was a bad thing even though they are both good things and excellent coping skills. There are many things worse than these like drugs, drinking, nicotine, gambling, porn etc. whereas chess is good for intelligence and socializing and bicycling is good for physical, mental and spiritual health and an excellent form of inexpensive sustainable transportation etc. One of my friends als... read more

One star is too much for “Dr. Arias”. I’ve had multiple doctors and healthcare providers diagnose me with a TBI, but since it was a worker comp case they insisted on a second opinion to “make sure I was getting the right care”. Robert decided based on his 5 minute interview and and 5 hour IQ evaluation (done by someone else) that I did not have a TBI and it’s been too long since the injury to determine if it was post concussion syndrome. So work comp dropped my case and I’m receiving no care and no further compensation. I de... read more
