I struggled with depression most of my adult life. As medications proved less effective in the treatment of my disease, Dr Sammons introduced me to TMS. The effects were amazing. It is so nice to be engaged in life instead of a constant battle of depression.
Dr. Sammons has helped me turn my life around. I will be forever greatful for him. Very compassionate and supportive.
Profit motivated exclusively, and consistently thru (2) two contacts. No interest in patient questions, you are a number, approved and paid for via insurance or out-of-pocket and nothing else. The strategy is to maximize wealth for ownership, shareholders, what-have-you. The problem I have is they are treating PEOPLE, NOT THINGS, NOT ANIMALS, people. This person is compelled to share my experience and allow you - your own. Disgusting actually, hands-down the most miserable experience I have ever encountered dealing with a me... read more
I have been a patient of Dr. Sammons for nearly 20 years. When I first saw him I had been treated for insomnia over a period of one year by 2 different doctors with little success. Doc Sammons totally turned this around and within weeks I was sleeping normally. I have continued using him to this day and find him to be a knowledgeable and compassionate physician.
I called to see if they were accepting new patients. My information was taken and I was told I would receive a returned call. Never happened. I understand if they are not accepting new patients but don't leave someone hanging. I expect more from a health care provider dealing with mental issues. Very disappointed.
I came here from Cleveland, Oh. I’ve had treatment resistant major depressive disorder for more than 20 years. Dr. Sammons agreed to take me as a patient. He continued the meds I was on when I arrived in GJ, even though not effective. He slept through 90% of my appointments. He did suggest perhaps trying transcranial MT which he makes a fortune on. I declined because it was a cash only proposition. If you have no other alternative, and your medical regimen is already established, he might help
I cant "thank" this wonderful Man enough... he has "helped" me get thru some extreemly difficult times in my life.. he's "tough" on you... and demands that you keep your end of the bargin up.. that's the Best thing any Doctor can do.. and he does it very well. hes the best! Donna Vidmar
When I was 15, Dr. Sammons told my mother I was faking mental illness. For the next 18 years, I barely survived on self-destruction and pain. I couldn't understand why I couldn't change the things about me that made my life difficult. When I was 33, I was finally correctly diagnosed and treated. The psychiatrist asked why I hadn't been previously diagnosed. It was because I thought all these years that I WAS faking. Dr. Sammons destroyed my life. My life could have been different.
