I went to Dr. Robert A. Saed for a routine annual physical and was billed ~$200 for lab tests I never requested. Past annual physicals with other doctors have always been fully covered, so these extra charges felt unnecessary and unfair. When I tried to resolve it, his office never returned my calls, even after UCLA hospital marked my case as urgent. I later learned they were also using expired billing codes. Great primary care doctor. Listens well, figures out if you need a referral and who to refer you out to. Works to get quick results with both insurance and referrals.

Be advised, you will be required to waive your rights under HIPAA and also waive your right to sue in the event of negligence, malpractice, or incompetence. Questions about this will be sharply discouraged by the office staff. The physician I first saw at this clinic was needlessly cruel, deeply prejudiced, and entirely unfit to serve the community.
