My first-hand experience: She is discriminatory towards LGBTQIA+ people in her case notes and documentation. The level of care she provided was sub-par, as she didn't explain diagnosis, or suggest alternative treatments. She has multiple negative reviews on UPMC's own review system. Her professionalism, attention to her patients, and level of care all need review, and possible censure. UPMC, you can do better. Our 18 year old daughter traveled 5.5 hrs back home to meet with this provider about a growth on her bladder. Mrs Porter spent less than 5 minutes with us, seemed disinterested and disingenuous towards our daughter. There was no examination and she refused to say if her condition was urgent or not. I could not in good faith recommend this provider to anyone else. We have been with UPMC a long time and have never experienced a more disturbing appointment.
