I accompanied my aunt to Dr. Weir for a second opinion after ongoing knee pain following meniscus surgery. The appointment lasted less than five minutes. He only looked at her X-rays and did not examine her knee at all — no physical checks, no movement tests, nothing. She left without answers and did not feel taken seriously. Very disappointing experience.
Dr Weir ended up replacing my hip plus femur that had broken. I was so happy and waited until he got back from vacation because he did an excellent job!! Years later I had to have my knee replaced and of course I had Dr Weir do both of them but of course at different times. Healing from my right knee surgery and want to get my left knee done and be rid of if! Dr Weir is such a great doctor!!!!
