I am absolutely appalled with this place. The man prepping all the food was dripping sweat INTO the food. Absolutely disgusting. When we said something, someone wiped off his face. But he continued to sweat and they did nothing. So unsanitary we couldn't even eat our breakfast.
I absolutely love this place and I'm totally addicted to the blueberry smoothie. The staff are great and Emily greats me by name every morning which I love. Roast & Toast is officially part of my morning routine!
My favorite place to go for breakfast while in Petoskey! Love the Guatamalan & Vanilla Nut coffee. Staff are always very nice!!!
In a word......awesome!!!! Everything we had was wonderful, we were just passing thru on the way home from Mackinac Island, our only complaint was you need a days notice to buy a loaf of bread! The chicken salad was out of the world and the bread(both veggie and sour dough) was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
On the positive side, the atmosphere, service and coffee were excellent. I was very disappointed by the scrambled eggs which were over cooked and dry. I would like to try their baked goods and soup which looked really good. A very cool, funky little shop, but I would have liked a better breakfast.
