Awesome Place! Try the Hypnotic Kiss- my favorite drink! Service is incredible. Food and drinks are even better. You have to try it!
I went there for happy hour; we sat at the bar. The food was great however the bartender was not friendly. I did receive great service from the bar back. I will return but I will make sure not to get that unfriendly bartender.
ROAST IS WONDERFUL – Went to three restaurants during DRW. Hit Roast that we've been to before. Had an excellent meal and outstanding service. When I filed a review on Open Table I was looking at someother reviews and saw an awful one about Roast. I've always wondered about the really terrible reviews very nice restaurants get. Stopped in for lunch. The menu is unique - fun. No ordinary burger and fries although a variation of it is offered. We had the stuffed pepper app.- loved it! Soups, tasty salads, and the Beast of the day. Today was goat. I wanted something light so I had a salad. My date had the beef, it was served perfectly cooked with a wonderful sauce. We vowed to go back for dinner soon - to have the Beast. Our service was prompt, attentive, and thoughtful.
The food was actually pretty good, but the service was not. There is a lot of room for improvement in the wait staff. I usually will give a restaurant a second chance but probably won't in this case. I did contact the manager but that was not very helpful. Be prepared to have a 20% tip added to your bill for a party of six. The decor was beautiful. Doormen and valets were very personable!!
