RecommendedLunch with a friend as we spent the day in Roanoke. Food was delicious generous servings. My clams were great, the slaw and fried okra were perfect. My friend's turkey with all the trimmings was reported to have been perfect as was her fresh salad. Desert, strawberry shortcake was spot on and my friend's lime and lemon sherbet was refreshing and rich in flavor! Will be eating there again REALY soon.
I was here with a woman I love so the food was great. I plan on going here with my enemies to see if the food is still good.
I lived in Roanoke 35 years ago. Coming back and eating here was such a special homecoming. It is still just as delicious! The pancakes and biscuits were just like I remember them. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I can’t wait to bring my family back!
Very friendly staff and delicious home cooked food
One of my very favorite places to eat. we have a banquet planned there in July, one of many we have had over the years. if there is a problem Butch will make it right.

Have been going there since forever. We had a private room last minute for a family lunch after my mother's funeral. It was perfect, and so was the food.
