I have been coming here for the country ham since the 70's. The country ham omelette is great. The grits are disappointing. They could use more cooking and are too watery. I will always come back, but hope the grits will improve.
Every meal here is fabulous! Try their Taco Salad! But bring a friend, it's HUGE!!!
Breakfast was delicious, service was excellent & the BEST biscuits & gravy!!! What a find!!!
Took my Mother and daughter for dinner. Mom ordered the turkey dinner and was disappointed in her meal stating it was tasteless. My daughter and I both ordered the #2 club sandwich on wheat. I got chips and my daughter had fries. Mine came out on white, but it was delicious. My daughter also loved her sandwich. Her fries were cooked perfectly. The server was friendly, but did not offer drink refills and had to be asked for extra napkins. Over all it was a good meal and decent value.
My mother started taking me to the Roanoker when I was 14 and it was at Towers. We continued to go for 38 years until her passing in 2004. The Roanoker was a big part of my life. I have wonderful memories of being there. Miss her and miss being there.
